Hi there, I’m Jack, a product designer who can turn your ideas into reality. Or at least, into prototypes.
What do i do?
I’m a Product Designer from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who loves to make unique and creative, problem-solving products!
Right now, I’m currently a student at the University of Minnesota, where I am pursuing a BS in Product Design. My time at UMN allows me to continuously explore and develop my passion for design and solving real-world problems with various methods, such as user research, concept refinement, and prototyping.
I have since worked on a variety of challenging and creative projects that I am eager to share with you, such as a pair of handmade leather sneakers, a prototype of a functional knife cleaner, and a mobile app for bouldering enthusiasts. I also thrive on collaborating with other designers to exchange ideas and receive feedback, which I believe is essential to success.
As a lifelong learner, I am always open to new challenges and opportunities that will help me grow as a product designer. As a result, I have developed a portfolio that highlights my product design skill and passion.

About myself
Did you know that the average person interacts with over 100 products every day? I didn't, but that’s one of the many things I learned after pursuing Product Desgn.
I have always been captivated by art and design. As I grew up, from making life-size Pokémon models with my brother as a kid, to a Scar Mask in middle school, I expressed my creativity and imagination through various projects. Through Product Design, I have been able to reconnect with that passion and channel it into creating unique and creative products that answer questions and/or solve problems.
However, Product Design is not just about making things look good. It is also about understanding the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the users, and finding the best solutions to their problems. Because design has taught me so much, my life is changed for the better (or worse) as I’ve applied this knowledge in my daily life.
Outside of the workshop, you’ll likely find listening to music, bouldering, or talking somebody’s ear off about Ghost in the Shell. I’m a very passionate person with many interests in and outside of art and design. I love exploring and learning new things. Some of my current interests are collecting vinyls and streetwear fashion!
